Today we travel to San Francisco, California. A historic city home to many pivotal events in the history of the United States, such as the Gold Rush, the Beat Generation of the 1950s and the LGBTQ movement, it is undoubtedly a major player on the stage. Home to countless museums and unique art and architecture, there is always something to see and do in this town. With culture enough to span the length of the Golden Gate Bridge, we decided to follow the lead of a dog and do some digging into where might be some great places to stay and eat when in Sunset City.
As your plane lands and you collect your Remy & Roo clad pup (must be fashionable while traveling) from the seat next to you, you pull out your smartphone to check the time - just in time to check in at the Beacon Grand. After you check in, you decide that evening dinner and drinks at the Beacon Lounge are in order. You have dinner covered, so you have to start thinking about brunch in the morning. You want to take your dog, so you need to find a great place that she can join you as though she is a human. Zazie has you covered. With an amazing brunch menu and gorgeous outdoor setting for your pup, you will surely have your brunch and then want to stay for lunch…
And dinner. Monday night’s are Dog Night on the patio. Fetch some dinner!
Zazie’s Instagram page features great photos of their indoor and outdoor spaces. They love to feature dogs on their Instagram, so your dog may become an Influencer if she isn’t already. (And prepare to get hungry when you visit their Instagram.)
Zazie is an experience from the moment you walk up to their entryway. A bright and neat shop greets you as you enter into a gorgeous wood-tone restaurant. This space sets the stage for the next course, which is the outdoor courtyard. Surrounded by green and carefully constructed to make you and your pup feel at home, you’ll forget the hustle and bustle outside and lose yourself in their French Toast. It is truly a Mediterranean aesthetic.
Also, did we mention that they celebrate birthdays? Like, your dog’s birthday with a candle lit whipped cream cup? This establishment has been carefully curated for both the human and canine experience.
Looking for things to do with your canine companion while she is not being pampered at The Pawington, the premiere Bay Area pet resort? (Seriously, if you have business meetings, check this place out. I’d want to play there for the day.) Go check out the sea lions on Fisherman’s Wharf.
